Tsitsikamma National Park
A magnificently preserved indigenous forest
A visit to the Tsitsikamma National Park Headquarters at Stormsriver is a must if you are visiting the Eastern Cape or travelling through to The Garden Route.
The turn-off to the park is just after the Stormsriver Village Turnoff. There is an entrance fee required to gain access to the park. Meander down to coast through a magnificently preserved indigenous forest.
At the coast, you will be able to take short walks. There is one to traverse the suspended bridge which crosses Stormsriver. You can climb up to a high vantage point to get some spectacular marine coast views, or just laze around at the cove once you have crossed the bridge.
There are also various forest walks that you can go on. All the trails are well marked and meticulously maintained for your safety.
The coastline is really beautiful and there are picnic sites for day visitors.
Various marine activities are available to hire such as kayaking, underwater snorkelling tours. This is arranged through the central facilities based at the mouth.
There are also 2 restaurants where you can enjoy various meals, as well as a well-stocked souvenir shop.
